The Secret of Monte Cristo board game

In Alexandre Dumas’s novel The Count of Monte Cristo, Edmond Dantès is imprisoned for fourteen years, during which he learns of a fortune on the island of Monte Cristo. Eventually he escapes and makes his way to the island. But did he find all of the treasure on the island? That's not what designers Arnaud Urbon and Charles Chevallier propose in The Secret of Monte Cristo.<br /><br />The players are smugglers who learned of the treasure from Dantès while travelling together, and now each of them has decided to search the island for any treasure that might remain.
