BoardGameCity.com is primarily based on the web, attending shows in the UK or local events on the odd occasion. Physically we're based in the UK and are fully owned and operated by Maddison Games Ltd. We started off in Milton Keynes and now operate just outside; in Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire.

Maddison Games was devised late in 2002 and started selling online and shipping board games to people at home and abroad in May 2003. It was one of the first websites to include pictures of all of the board games it sold, with the aim to bringing gaming to a wider variety of people. The shop website later changed name from Maddison Games to Board Game City, to identify it's specialised content in the growing online world.

We are a small independant family owned business, who still love to game when we get the chance.
